It is a very popular type of pastry in Turkish cuisine. Here is a simple puff pastry recipe you can make at home:
Materials:
1 pack of phyllo
2 eggs
1 glass of water Milk
1 cup of yogurt
1/2 cup of oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
250 g feta cheese
1/2 bunch of parsley
Sesame (for topping)
Fabrication:
First, cut the cheese and parsley into small cubes and put them in a bowl.
Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk. Next, add milk, yogurt, oil, salt and baking soda and mix.
Lay the phyllo on the counter and spread the mixture you prepared on it. Then, wrap the phyllo in the form of a roll and spread it on it by pressing it a little with your hand.
Put the cheese mixture you prepared on the phyllo and wrap the yufka in the form of a roll.
Slice the rolls you prepared into finger thickness and place them on a greased baking tray.
Finally, sprinkle sesame seeds on it and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 30-35 minutes.
You can serve the puff pastries you have taken out of the oven hot.
